M.A.D’s Mandelic Refining Cleanser uses a cocktail of Mandelic, Lactic, Tatraric, and Malic acids making this your go-to, fundamental cleanser! An ideal cleanser for all, it addresses anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, and acne all in one. The Mandelic Refining Cleanser targets skin dullness and signs of aging, decreasing the appearance of large pores while deep cleansing without drying. Skin is left hydrated, refined and toned. Paraben Free.

Directions

Dispense about a quarter size amount and mix with tepid water, gently massage to face in a circular motion until a lather has formed. Rinse with tepid water. Follow with our Everyday Renewing Toner to prep your skin for the best possible results. Apply a treatment product or sunscreen if desired. Avoid contact with eyes.

Key Ingredients

Mandelic Acid An alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds, gentle yet highly effective. Accelerates cell turnover and helps remove dead skin that can lead to breakouts, dull complexions, and fine lines. Antibacterial properties help treat acne, regulate sebum production, and decrease breakout occurrence. Mandelic Acid has even been shown to benefit cystic acne.

Lactic Acid Nourishes and moisturizes the skin as it cleanses. As an alpha-hydroxy acid, it exfoliates and stimulates cell regeneration. It also helps break down impurities and sebum. Excellent in tackling hyperpigmentation, age spots, and the other causes of a dull, uneven complexion.

Tartaric and Malic Acids Light alpha-hydroxy acids aiding in gentle exfoliation, removing buildup of dead skin cells and clogged pores. Effective detoxifiers improve skin’s texture and stimulate skin’s metabolism promoting healing and anti-aging. Hydrates the skin for a brighter, smoother skin tone.
